Over 5000 years ago an ancient civilization created the world’s oldest medicine. This medicine known as Ayurveda soon became renowned all over Asia for its efficacy in healing the human body. This healing prowess of Ayurveda was achieved by using herbs found in nature, and preparing them in special pre-determined ways so as to bring the body back into balance, thereby ridding the person of the illness. Even today 5 millennia from its inception, Ayurveda is still being used all over the world because of its power to cure illnesses’ using natural ingredients, devoid of the numerous side effects of mainstream medicine.
During our research into this medicine decades ago, we found mention of fabled recipes that kept popping up in ancient Ayurvedic manuals and texts. One written as “रस श्रीक” which translated into english means “the elixir of beauty” and the other “ मुसली क्रिया” meaning “the wellbeing of muscle”. Intrigued by this recipe and aware of the documented efficacy of Ayurveda, we set of to find it. Why? the reason being that we at simply natural wanted to make a product that unlike 90% of the creams out their was 100% natural, however at the same time we wanted the product to actually work. These two combinations led us to explore many natural medicines, but in the end only the natural medicine of Ayurveda was able to convince us of its effectiveness.
The slight in wrinkle in our plan came when in all the ancient texts we combed through the names of the recipes were mentioned, but the recipe itself was not listed. Determined, after reading all the wondrous accounts of these recipes, we set of too find it at the place of its inception, Asia. Our search which lasted a decade, led us to India, Nepal, Tibet and Mongolia. When we finally found it listed as part of a sixth generation family recipe in Sri Lanka!

We have searched extensively for suppliers of our raw ingredients who adhere to the strictest bio and natural codes of manufacturing.
